Ferry

Tinos is remarkably well-connected to the two largest ports of Athens (Piraeus and Rafina). Especially during the summer months, multiple ferry connections are available on a daily basis, and the crossing lasts from 1 hour and 50 minutes to 5 hours, depending on the type of vessel and the port of departure. Piraeus is located closer to the city center, while Rafina lies close to the Athens International Airport.

The island is also connected with other islands of the Cyclades complex, including Andros, Mykonos, Syros, Naxos, Paros and Santorini.

Flights

There is no airport on the island.

The closest one is located in Mykonos,

a much-preferred destination receiving flights from several European countries. From there, it is very easy to reach Tinos by ferry, as the ferry crossing lasts just 30 minutes.

Mykonos International Airport is located 6 km away from Tourlos, the new port of Mykonos. If there are no direct flights to Mykonos Airport, you can fly to the International Airport of Athens and then proceed to Tinos by ferry.
